Slavery Slavery has been one of the most discussed topics in history when it is referred to colonialism, people, and women. It is one of the things that society hates the most because it is against human rights . However, that kind of thoughts about it started when countries in the entire American continent wanted to be independent and free and that idea of freedom couldn’t be just for white people. Nevertheless, there were people that didn’t wanted to lose their “facilities”, they wanted to continue having slaves . Could you imagine how denigrating was people sold their best black slaves for more money without caring about black moms and their children ? These women suffered from being separated from their children and when they wanted to look after them, it was almost impossible in that kind of environment.
